President Barack Obama was quick to apologize for the burning of Qur’ans in Afghanistan but slow to get an apology for the two U.S. servicemen killed by an Afghan policeman. He was quick to suppress the news of a Moroccan immigrant who strapped a would-be suicide vest on and headed to the Capitol building but silent about the rise in church burnings in Nigeria.

There is a Muslim-turned-Christian in Iran who is about to be executed for the crime of apostasy – where’s Obama’s outrage? He is quick to silence the questioning of Islam’s intentions toward the United States, Israel and their people but he is slow to apologize for or even acknowledge his role in encouraging the revolutions in the streets of Middle-Eastern countries and at home. I have not heard one question of the President about his responsibility – his culpability – for the lives of those who are left to die in the streets of Homs because he promoted ‘peaceful transitions’ in his era of the Arab Spring – now deemed the Age of Chaos. Did he actually think he could get Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Bahrain, Yemen and Syria – all Islamic nations – to climb into his pocket by replacing the dictatorial regimes with U.S. assisted oppositional Brotherhoods?

After bowing to the Saudi King, maybe Barack can ask his good ‘ol buddy to release the 35 Christians they’re holding in prison for praying to the God of heaven.

And what about Iran? After the IAEA released their report today about Iran’s increasingly ramped up uranium production and missing uranium, what can he possibly say to Benjamin Netanyahu about refraining from an attack? It’s likely he’ll say, “Right after my re-election, we’ll take a long, hard look at this – and the Keystone project – and figure out what to do about Iran’s oil market monopoly and their views of the world’s Apocalypse.” And, “Don’t worry Bibi, we’ll contain ’em if they really build a bomb or two!” They’ll talk all friendly like this because Barack has demonstrated as much admiration for Netanyahu and Israel as he has for the Saudi King and his kingdom.

What do you expect? After all, it’s the existence of Netanyahu’s people that’s at stake – not Obama’s (so he might think).

The Iranian nuclear scientist who was recently assassinated was outed by his widow saying that ‘his work was an effort to annihilate Israel.’ So much for their story ‘we’re just creating medical isotopes!’

Is anybody catching a theme here?

We’re about a day away from publishing The Last Song – so keep watch!

One Response to “There’s nothing that Islamists can do to get Obama’s attention”

  • would like to know my reason for oipositpon to Mr. Ahmadinejad? Easy, I can tell you a few right of the top of my head, and these are only a few, I don’t see any merit into going through all:1) His neo-liberal economic policies which in essence are identical to those of the reformists: a) Massive privatization of national properties(eg. the oil and gas industry which had been nationalized at the cost of so much blood by the great Iranian icon Dr. Mosaddegh) b) Lifting subsidies which is a direct to the poor Iranian masses. In fact if his doom is going to come it will be through this suicide that he is commiting and through the rebellion of the underpriviledged and not through the movement of a bunch rich effete urbanites who call themselves green c) Deregulations which are being made as the incentive to draw in the forein investments d) Indeed his efforts to bring in foreign investments. e) His attempts to make Iran a member of WTO etc. etc. etc.2)His lack of honesty in the political matters such as but not limitted to putting the blame of all attrocities commited during the 1980s on Mr. Mousavi whereas indeed the first and foremost responsible person for all those attrocities was Mr. Khomeini himself!! Not that Mousavi was not guilty, Mousavi together with Rafsanjani, Ahmad Khomeini and some other green activists were Mr. Khomeinis TOP leiutenants, but the chief guilty person was khomeini himself, and Ahmadinejad conveniently neglects and in fact denies this fact.3)His implicit support for the acts of treason committed by Mr. Rafsanjani when he indirectly acknowledged that Mr. Rafsanjani has had many badges of honour from his early days in the revolution (ie. in the early 1980s when the worst of human rights violations occured)4)His own share of responsibility in the current human right violations which are going on in Iran. Although they very much pale in magnitude compared to what Mr. Mousavi and Mr. Rafsanjani did in the 80s and early 90s.I can go on but I think these should suffice for the time being?
