The Carved Image of Death

On May 5, 2014 by Admin

In an interesting article, posted at, it appears that there is a legal battle brewing in which an Atheist group wishes to erect a statue of Satan (as they might envision him) next to the replicated stone carvings of the Ten Commandments – those which Moses was given by God. The legal aspect of this argument is simple… Yes, they have the legal “right” to do so.

For the sake of this posting, we’re not looking at the legality of such an endeavor, but what it is that Christians – and God – see as detestable and in opposition to His Commandments.

In the most simple of descriptions, anything carved as an image of something in heaven above, upon the earth below, or in the sea beneath is in opposition to His instructions as per Exodus 20:4-6…

You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments

Applying the above image is rather simple when it comes to this Commandment. A winged man-figure (we know that Satan’s wings were “torn off” as per Daniel 7:4) with a goat-head, horns and hooved feet – orbited by a Pentagram – is obviously demonic; as is the entire point of this group. But this is not the group to be wary of… they wear their antichristisms upon their shirt-sleeves.

What is to be revealed is the deceit that men have undergone for seventeen centuries under the false guise of “Christianity” and the carved images of – Catholicism.

We are all familiar with the images of a woman, known to be “Mary,” overseeing the graves of the dead, roadside shrines and – of course – overseeing those within the Catholic “church.”

We are all familiar with the carvings of the “saints” and their overseeing role within the Roman creation of Catholicism. Such images are worshipped by Catholics who dismiss this charge as simply “honoring” such people. We witnessed such an “honor” just last week with the Catholic ritual of “canonization.” This Roman-only ritual is intended to worship leaders of the church which have been accredited with miracles, none of which can be verified as miracles, and are lifted to the very throne of God by mere men.

None of this is biblical. All of the above can be found and is accredited exclusively to the catechism of the Catholic church. There are no references to “honoring” Mary, the saints, the popes, or anyone else via carved images and the men who bow before them. There is no reference to Catholicism, catechism, or canonization within the sixty six books of the Bible. None of the apostles, some who lived for nearly sixty five years after Jesus’ resurrection – offered such terms, rituals, traditions or changes to God’s Ten Commandments. These are fabrications owned solely by the Roman Catholic church and its teaching of the catechism.

But that’s not the worst of it…

In every Catholic church… In every pope’s hand… and upon the very minds of Catholics is the carved image of a dead man hanging from a cross. The indicative symbol of the Catholic church is the carved image of Death. Death is sin. Death is one of the many names of the fallen angel. It was he, the fallen angel, who rose from the Abyss to overcome the Christ Jesus.

Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them – Revelation 11:7

Jesus finished His testimony… and the beast, Death, came up out of the Abyss – attacked Him, overpowered and killed Him. Though Death’s defeat over God’s Son lasted only three days, the event is immortalized by the carved image of Death on a stick; the image of the Roman act of crucifixion. See the image of Pope John Paul…PopeJohnPaulStPetersSqAP

…grasping and holding onto the blasphemous image – that which is worshiped by all Catholics.

Breaking the second Commandment, the pope is shown grasping onto the very image of his god – Death.

The Catholics will defend this in saying that they teach “Christ crucified” as per Paul in 1 Corinthians 1:18-31…

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”

Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord”

Do Christians preach “Christ crucified?” YES!

But what makes Jesus different than all of the others who were overcome by Death upon a cross?

Jesus rose from Death!

Had men been given the ability to carve such an image as Jesus’ resurrected life and ascension, we might have been instructed to carve such an image. But how can man carve an image of an infinite God out of a finite and  minute piece of wood?

Because the answer is, “Such an image cannot be whittled out of a stick of wood,” such carvings are disallowed – Commanded against by the very Father God Himself.

There were tens of thousands of men murdered by the Roman act of crucifixion. There was but ONE who overcame the act of Death and rose from the grave after the cross – the one and only – Jesus.

We are given many warnings about the formation of Catholicism and false religions – such as Islam – within the pages of the Bible. Among them are – Matthew 5:32, 15:3-9, 19:9, 23:9; John 16:2-3; 1 Timothy 4:1-4 and 7; Revelation  12:9, 17:2, 18:1-7, 19:10, 22:8-11 and 22:18-19.

The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him – Revelation 12:9

The great dragon was hurled down here – to earth. He and his demons (1 Timothy 4:1) have led the whole world astray. The two largest religions on the face of the planet are Islam and that of the religion of catechism – Catholicism. Though they lay claim to being the world’s leader in Christianity, they are anything but…

Like any religion which boasts of its own traditions and rituals… any which boasts of their own post-biblical books of “truth”… any religion which “honors” the carved images that God Commands they not create… these are but the things which have led men astray over the centuries.

Today, the Catholic church membership numbers 1.2 billion people. Islam numbers at 1.8 billion people. These two post-biblical religions make up three billion people and nearly 45% of the earth’s current population. Add to them the numbers of Hindus, Buddhists, Mormons, Atheists, Agnostics, Satanics, Spiritualists and Academics and you have the vast majority of men on earth who worship God in vain or worship something other than God altogether.

We are given the number of people who are pulled through the flames in man’s final moment of madness. That number is given as a percentage form in Zechariah 13:8-9 as one-third.

Today’s population of children, age 12 and under (all children are saved), biblical Christians and Jews stands at about 2.3 billion people… The reader can do the math.

Whether men erect carvings of goat-headed men with hooved feet, women called “mother,” men identified as “saints” by other men, or the image of Death – all are detestable and in opposition to God’s Command of Exodus 20:4-6.

There is no “honor” in defying the Commandments of the God of heaven as we know Him to be the Father, the Son and the very Spirit of God.
