Iran vs. Israel – No Fear

  • I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and is divine evedince that Joseph Smith is a Prophet and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I am continually in awe of how powerful of an impact the Book of Mormon has on the lives of those who read it including myself. The change it creates in its readers cannot not be contested, the spirit will radiate from their countenance declaring that These things are true. Many people believe that a young boy seeing God the Father and Jesus Christ is impossible, that those types of miracles are too hard to believe. Nothing with God is easy. If it is worth it, it is going to be a trial to get it. It is so with gaining a testimony that Joseph Smith saw what he saw, that he translated the Book of Mormon and restored the Church again on the earth. To know we have to put forth the effort but it is worth it to know, because it is true.

  • You’re kidding, right.

  • Mormonism is known to true Christians to be a cult group, as evidenced by the three levels of heaven teaching.

  • Yes, I agree. However, they still believe in the crucifixion, resurrection and ascension (albeit a bit warped) of our CChrist Jesus. Like Catholicism, they practice false traditions. But it is God and his Son who make that judgment and who will be “tested like gold.” Not all gold has the same karat weight, yet it is still gold.

  • For me, a true prophet is one who is rellay out there in God’s name. They come when there is a need for change. A true prophet does not build up his own character but instead builds up our relationship with God. A true prophet makes us uncomfortable. A true prophet is not accepted by the establishment. A true prophet’s prophecy is a natural outcome of a commitment to God’s goodness. God’s goodness is not harmful to the helpless. It is peaceful. It is liberating. It is challenging. It makes change happen. False prophets are comfortable. False prophets make money, False prophets harm and/or ignore the needy. False prophets tell us how blessed they are by God. False prophets are praised by the establishment.
